This page contains illustrations and general placement instructions for the D1 x B7 offset pivot hinge for the bottom of your door. Once RAJACK has all of your specific door information we can recommend hinge material sizes and projections. Please use the links above for detailed cut sheets of each material size offered for this hinge setup. RAJACK can accommodate most custom hinge requests.

The B7 floor stud mounts below the door aligned with the D1 pivot. The B7 stud is anchored into floor (see v1, v1-1). Epoxy is used often to secure floor but other methods are possible as long as the floor stud is anchored safely securely into floor. The floor stud is designed for concrete and marble floors but can be used on other style floors as long as the stud can be securely anchored. Its important you determine the desired undercut spacing for your door (see v1-2). We will make the appropriate height stud, bushing and spacer to accommodate  the specified door undercut.

The D1 pivot portion is mortised flush to the bottom of the door (see v2). The D1 is mortised into the center of the doors thickness.  Changes can be made to the material size, projection and placement of the pivot hinge if need be at time of order.

RAJACK Offset Pivot Hinges are manufactured in different material sizes to accommodate small cabinet doors up to full size doors.  You can find a hinge material size chart on the Offset Pivot Hinge main page.
