This page contains illustrations and general placement instructions for the D4 x B3 offset pivot hinge for the bottom of your door. Once RAJACK has all of your specific door information we can recommend hinge material sizes and projections. Please use the links above for detailed cut sheets of each material size offered for this hinge setup. RAJACK can accommodate most custom hinge requests.

The B3 pivot portion mounts to the side jamb aligned with the D4 pivot portion mounted to the door. The B3 can be surface mounted onto the floor (see Install Option A) or mortise flush into the floor (see Install Option B). It's important you determine the desired undercut spacing for the bottom of your door. RAJACK will make the appropriate size pivot pin, bushing and spacer to accommodate your specified door undercut.

The D4 pivot portion is mortised flush into the side of the door (see v3). The D4 is mortised into the center of the doors thickness. Changes can be made to the material size, projection and placement of the pivot hinge if need be at time of order.
