This page contains illustrations and general placement instructions for the T4 x D3 offset pivot hinge for the top of your door. Once RAJACK has all of your specific door information we can recommend hinge material sizes and projections. Please use the links above for detailed cut sheets of each material size offered for this hinge setup. RAJACK can accommodate most custom hinge requests.
The T4 pivot portion is a rear jamb mounted offset pivot hinge. The T4 can be mortised so that the knuckle of the hinge is above the door flush into the header.
( see v1, v1-1, v1-2). Labeled: Install Option A
The T4 can also be mortised so that the T4 body is flush with the top of the door (see v2). Some special notes below when choosing to mortise the T4 flush with the top of the door (see v2-1, v2-2, v2-3). Labeled: Install Option B
The D3 pivot portion is mortised flush into the back of the door. Depending on how the T4 is installed will determine how deep the D3 is mortised down into the door. Changes can be made to the size, projection and placement of the pivot hinge if need be at time of order.
